MAURITIUS TAX TREATY UPDATE The current status of the Mauritius tax treaty network is as follows: So far Mauritius has concluded 29 tax treaties and is party to a series of treaties under negotiation. The treaties currently in force are with: Belgium Croatia Germany Italy Luxembourg Mozambique Oman Rwanda Swaziland United Kingdom Botswana Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka India Kuwait Madagascar Namibia Pakistan Singapore Sweden Zimbabwe Cyprus France Indonesia Lesotho Malaysia Nepal People’s Republic of China South Africa Thailand 10 treaties await ratification with: Bangladesh Russia Vietnam Barbados Senegal Zambia Malawi Tunisia Nigeria Uganda 7 treaties are being negotiated with : Canada, Czech Republic, Greece, Portugal, Seychelles United Arab Emirates and Republic of Iran.
